Importance of Introduction of Traffic Sense In Primary Schools /Children Introducing traffic sense to children is crucial for their safety and the well-being of others. Practices could start with understanding of the colours of traffic light , amber green and red. Fun based activities like colouring scenes of traffic movement on different lights , saying poems and finally having a day/two day long workshop to practically demonstrate the traffic light could be a great way to teach young children, older children could be made to ride battery toy cars on track made with Zebra crossing and signals to understand the concept while the younger could be taught to cross the road via zebra crossing in the same workshop. Some appreciation like traffic rules champions ,road safety award,stars tattoo on their hands etc, could be given to children.
